Weave-It-Yourself Paper Banig: Online Guide
Hi! Here's a recorded tutorial on how to weave paper mats through the traditional practice of Banig weavers in Basey, Samar. I've initially recorded this for Homeschool Global-Roces' community in celebration of Buwan ng Wika and I'm sharing this with everyone who are always curious to learn handcraft skills.
Materials you will need:
- Colored paper strips (preferably construction paper) in 2 colors
- Scissors
- Masking tape
Below is the video tutorial in Tagalog, hope you can tag us (@theartofyarn & @woven.ph) on Instagram when you post about your finished works! Thank you so much!
