Start weaving unique tapestries with Frame Loom Weaving. This is a 3-hour class that introduces learners to modern weaving techniques using only a frame lap loom. 

The workshop covers the fundamentals of weaving, starting from how to warp, best practices in weaving, three (3) foundational techniques, and finishing steps. Check out the sample designs of these techniques here.

By the end of the session, you will have a deeper understanding of weaving, and you'll be confident to continue making more handwoven fabrics using a frame loom. We'll also finish your very own tapestry.

What is the difference between the Frame Loom and the Heddle Loom classes?

Both are beginner-friendly classes and are a great introduction to weaving, but they separately tackle different types of weaving looms. If you're looking for a project-based and more experience-based class for beginners of all ages, I recommend Heddle Loom class. If you want to learn the foundations of weaving by learning how to do it manually, I recommend the Frame Loom Weaving. 

I don't see a schedule that works for me. Can I book a private class?

Yes, please! Just select the 'private class' option, the published fee applies for 1 person, so you can book a maximum of 10 pax due to the limitations of the max capacity of my studio. You may send me a message on Instagram beforehand for my available dates.

What is the age requirement for this class?

I recommend this class to all ages, at least 5 y/o and up. No prior experience needed!

Does the workshop fee come with the kit to take home?

Yes, it is included in the fee and the complete Frame Loom Weaving kit will be yours to take home.
